You are invited to come and relax in a peaceful country setting on this 640 acre farm secluded in the scenic Turtle Mountains of Manitoba. Discover the natural beauty of nature on this farm which includes 240 acres of natural woodland with hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. Relax in the guest house, a 1907 Victorian farmhouse, completely restored with central air-conditioning; the main floor features a large fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining room, living room with fireplace, and bathroom. The second and third floors feature four spacious bedrooms, each with private, en-suite full bath. Enjoy watching the horses and cattle herd as you relax in the four season outdoor hot tub on the large, two-story wrap-around veranda. Relax around the campfire in the evening and listen to the elk bugle and the coyote call. The Turtle Mountains are excellent for bird watching, wild flower and wildlife viewing (deer, moose, elk). Two day seasonal vacation packages are offered to groups: Golf, Area Attraction Tours, Country Garden Tours, Winter Fun, and The Gals Great Get-away. All area attractions are within 5 to 10 minutes: Anchorage Gardens, International Peace Garden, Turtle Mountain Provincial Park, Whitewater Lake Waterfowl Habitat and the town of Boissevain, a National Communities in Bloom Winner with its giant outdoor art gallery and beautiful floral beds.

Walkinshaw Place is the ideal facility to rent for groups. The Exclusive Whole House Rental provides you with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Individual guestrooms may also be rented. Please phone for inquires.
